The below post is by Ben Schmerin, MBA13 Consulting Concentration.
This past Monday Humana was on campus for a presentation on their Infusion Program, which seeks top-tier graduate level professionals to join Humana to “infuse” new ideas and skill sets across the organization. Past GBS Student Body President, Raj Kaneriya (MBA12), and Rollins School of Public Health graduate Cassaundra Young spoke to students about their experiences with Humana and how Emory has allowed them to succeed. In addition to the two alums currently working for Humana, the four Emory students who interned with Humana last summer were in attendance to share their perspectives on Louisville, Humana, and the internship as a whole. The presentation provided valuable insight into Humana and the recruiting process with Emory. It was great to see successful Emory alums and how they were using their education to create an impact in a company. Their excitement in presentation was a clear indication that they wanted more Emory students to join them in providing more value-added solutions to a great company.
