Aside from knowing that my step-grandmother is from Brazil, I did not know much about the country prior to business school. When the international MSM options were announced in September, selecting Brazil as my MSM option was easy because I wanted to learn more about the country first-hand and had never been to South America before.
When I talk to prospective students about what distinguishes Goizueta from other elite MBA programs, one of the first differentiators that comes to mind for me is the strength of the alumni network
The Goizueta Healthcare Association recently hosted the official kick off for an exciting healthcare case competition.
Now that I’m finished with Full-Time recruiting, I’ll be focusing most of my energy on my coursework during my last semester at Goizueta. Since most of the required classes in our program are front-loaded during the first semester of our time here, we have three full semesters to take electives and explore different areas of the business school.
The Emory Center for Alternative Investments recently hosted the 15th annual Venture Capital Investment Competition at the Goizueta Business School. This annual competition is a part of a broader national program and presents students with a simulated opportunity to be venture capitalist investors, much like “sharks” on the ABC show, “Shark Tank.”
A significant advantage that I have noticed about Goizueta compared to other MBA programs is the intentional structure placed behind our academic curriculum.
These words emphasize the sentiment that spread though this year’s #GoizuetaENGAGE conference. Hundreds of women and men hustled inside to seek shelter from the winter flurries in anticipation of a day filled with inspiration, networking and knowledge.
