It is true that much of your time as an MBA is spent studying for exams, meeting with project groups and preparing for interviews. However, what truly completes the MBA experience is the extracurricular and social activities in which you can engage.
Coming into school, I knew I wanted to pursue a finance-oriented career, so it only made sense to concentrate in finance.
It’s spring-time in Atlanta, and we all know what that means — Piedmont Park is open and ready for festivals, markets and pick-up sports. As one of Atlanta’s largest public outdoor spaces, all 189 acres, the park offers up an abundance opportunity for fun and excitement.
It seemed like time flew by quickly when I started at Goizueta in August 2016. Economics, marketing and data analytics became my daily topics of conversation.
Now that Mid-Semester Modules and spring break are over, my class is kicking off the final few weeks of our MBA experience.
Aside from knowing that my step-grandmother is from Brazil, I did not know much about the country prior to business school. When the international MSM options were announced in September, selecting Brazil as my MSM option was easy because I wanted to learn more about the country first-hand and had never been to South America before.
With only a few short weeks left in my semester in my MBA at Goizueta, it’s hard to believe that I’m coming to the end of my tenure as a professional student and will be making my way into the workforce once again.
