Matt
Undergrad: Emory University
Pre-MBA: Corporate Finance and Equity Research
Interned: UBS Investment Bank, Financial Sponsors Group
Where I am going to work: UBS Investment Bank, Financial Sponsors Group
MBA Studies: Finance
Best Goizueta memory: Mid-Semester module trips to Japan and India; dinner with Jimmy Carter; summer study in Buenos Aires, Argentina; annual cocktail reception on the floor of the NYSE during New York Trek week
Why Goizueta: small class size, international focus, reputation on Wall Street, and the people (students, faculty, staff)
Best career skill learned at Goizueta: Never stop networking
Best trip experience: There is so much chaos wherever you go (honking horns, roaming animals, thousands of people crowding the streets, etc), but the people have such a calming demeanor and laid back attitude about daily life, that it makes up for the culture shock. It was a refreshing change from the sometimes intense American culture
