Going for an Executive MBA challenging yet rewarding
One of the driving forces for obtaining my MBA at Emory was to sharpen and improve my business acumen by improving my analytical and math skills.

Like most working professionals, I start pretty much every day with a warm cup of coffee. When I reach for a K-cup in the office break room or purchase beans or order a brewed cup of coffee, I’m usually focused on my forthcoming coffee-drinking experience.
Emory University’s mission is to create, preserve, teach and apply knowledge in the service of humanity. As students, it’s easy to get consumed by the day-to-day minutiae of our lives; between recruiting and classwork, we’re often busier than we want to be. At the end of the day, however, it’s this mission of “knowledge in the service of humanity” that binds us all together. It is firmly embedded in the fabric of our experience at Goizueta.
Projects: an application of the cases we discuss in the classroom? A chance to test out our strategies? One last assignment before spring break or graduation? Whatever it may be, almost all the coursework at Goizueta has some very interesting class projects to work on. This spring, I am particularly excited for our semester-long class project in Applied Investment Management.
When I talk to prospective students about what distinguishes Goizueta from other elite MBA programs, one of the first differentiators that comes to mind for me is the strength of the alumni network
The Goizueta Healthcare Association recently hosted the official kick off for an exciting healthcare case competition.
I’ve been fortunate to have many opportunities to learn about, practice and reflect upon career search activities during my time in Goizueta’s Evening MBA Program.
Now that I’m finished with Full-Time recruiting, I’ll be focusing most of my energy on my coursework during my last semester at Goizueta. Since most of the required classes in our program are front-loaded during the first semester of our time here, we have three full semesters to take electives and explore different areas of the business school.
