Mutianyu Great Wall, Beijing – What a magnificent site. Such a hard experience to describe. We took the toboggan (lift) up to the wall, and then had about 1.5 hours to walk around, take pictures and enjoy the site. Unfortunately, many of us were in a careful line holding onto the wall trying to manage the snow since we weren’t really prepared for snow. But I still managed a handstand on the Great Wall!

Panjiayuan Antique market, Beijing – We started the morning with a trip to the antique market – where the locals go for trinkets, jewelry, pots, etc. Our guide called it a treasure hunt, because there was likely 99% junk and 1% antiques.
Chinese foot massage, Beijing – After our travels to the Great Wall we went back to Beijing for a traditional Chinese foot massage – the most wonderful thing after our walking and travels. It lasted about an hour – and then we headed to dinner at Xibei Restaurant for some Mongolian bbq.
